Lessons designed to bring contemporary research and authentic data into the classroom. Data Nuggets feature a scientist role model and the story of what inspired their research. Students are guided through identifying hypotheses and predictions, visualizing and interpreting data, supporting claims using data as evidence, and asking their own questions for future research. Right now there are 7 data nuggets for Alaska. Sources are from Toolik field station, Beaufort Lagoon, and the Kuskokwim Delta. You can search by topic, location, or math or science concepts.
